Capitalism: A Love Story
Recently watched this movie and was shocked at what I saw. There was one scene about employers who purchase life insurance policies on their employees as the beneficiary - in other words investing funds on the fact that their employees will die and they will get money from this investment. The film also talked about three memorandums from Citibank describing the change in the distribution of wealth in the U.S.: the top 1% have more wealth than the bottom 95% and their biggest fear is that society will leverage the one advantage that they still have over this 1% - each citizen's right to vote.
Every U.S. Citizen should watch this movie.
